ABOUT DRUG ACTION SERVICE SUPPORT PERSONNEL AND VOLUNTEERS

Although DAS is a volunteer NCO, we maintain one (1) full time staff member on retainer - Mr. Stanley Marshall - who is responsible for maintaining our office and meeting headquarters, Genesis House. All other office personnel are volunteers, with two staff members volunteering service on a full time basis. Other volunteers support DAS on an available or when needed basis to assist with fundraising, Newsletters, I Hotline operators and Speakers Bureau. Without full and part time volunteer support, DAS would not be able to function in an efficient and effective manner.

In addition to supporting our Hotline programs, Mr. Marshall also oversees the Sunshine Group of Narcotic Anonymous (NA). (brochure - Bahamas Area Service Narcotic Anonymous), the Bahamas leading support group for drug related addiction, whose headquarters is located in Genesis House. The NA Sunshine Group meets four times a week at Genesis House and the New Providence Group meets three times a week at St. Georges Church.
